He has a 15 point lead in the supercross championship and now Cooper Webb is setting his sight on outdoors in the supercross break and is getting some laps in the sand.
Webb hasn’t been the same rider outdoors as he has been indoors in the 450 class, but he is a former 250 champ and is maybe in the form of his life after showing the raw speed and the famed grit and determination indoors – maybe this will be his year outdoors too.

Speaking on VitalMX to Darkside, Webb admitted his outdoor results haven’t been where there should be on a 450 but he is motivated to change that this season: “I need to establish myself more as an outdoor guy and I think I am definitely capable. The last few years have definitely been up and down with injuries, some years we just did supercross and other years it hasn’t worked out for whatever reason. With that being said, I think my supercross riding is as bit better, right? For me, that’s the goal this year and be back in that mix, I think I am capable of it. I am excited and have the platform and the bike to go out and do really well.
