New teams and riders strengthen the competitiveness of the Blue Squad in the Brazilian, Spanish and European championships
Four teams, 14 riders and a highly competitive group. This is how Yamaha Racing Brasil presents the Blue Team to compete for motocross titles in the 2026 season.
In the Brazilian Motocross Championship there will be three teams, starting with Yamaha Monster Energy Geração, which since 2012 has accumulated nine MX1 titles, and arrives with champions Fábio Santos and Paulo Alberto, as well as newcomers Vitor Borba and Salvador Perez.
Making their debut in the paddock is the new Yamaha C6 Bank IMS team, which features international star Glenn Coldenhoff, alongside Gabriel “Tomate” Soares, Luiz Felipe Rocha, Gustavo Torres and Victor Hugo Rocha.
The development base is also strong with the 101 M78 BLU CRU Junior Team, which competes in the junior categories of the Brazilian Motocross Championship. The team, which represents a new step for riders coming out of the IMS YZ125 BLU CRU América Latina programme, includes Juan Felipe Garcia and Rodrigo Stuardo, young talent Henri Krug and the promising Sebastian Velásquez.
And one of the most promising projects in national motocross is the Yamaha 115 M78 team, which includes talented rider Bernardo Tibúrcio, who under the guidance of Carlos Campano will compete in the Spanish and European Motocross championships in the 250 class.

In 2026 there will also be continuity for the IMS YZ125 BLU CRU América Latina programme, which enters its third season established as one of the main talent incubators for the new generation of Brazilian and Latin American motocross riders. Each year, 15 riders aged 11 to 16 – and girls up to 17 – are selected to enter the competition with full support from Yamaha Racing Brasil and the M78 Academy.
The competitors who will make up the grid for the 2026 season have already been selected, and the battle for the title and for a place in the YZ125 BLU CRU Superfinale at the MXGP/Motocross of Nations 2026 is scheduled to begin in March.
