Official: WZ KTM and Quentin Prugnieres part ways

After the F&H Racing team decided to close their doors at the end of the 2024 season, it left Quentin Prugnieres without a ride The French rider, who secured an MX2 World Championship ride with the WZ KTM Racing team coming into the season, is now parting ways with the German-based squad, effective immediately.

Prugnieres made a solid impression throughout his time with WZ KTM, not only putting in competitive results in the MX2 World Championship but also running up front in the ADAC Youngsters Cup, where he held the red plate until this past weekend. Despite the flashes of promise, both parties have now decided to head in different directions.

WZ KTM confirmed the news with a statement on social media, saying:

“Unfortunately we need to say goodbye to Quentin Prugnieres.

Prugnieres’ next move remains unconfirmed, but the message suggests a step up to the 450cc class could be imminent for the 2025 season and beyond. After showing strong speed and determination in MX2, the French talent will be looking to make his mark on the bigger bike.
