Official: Team Ireland IN for 2025 Ironman MXoN!

After initial uncertainty, Team Ireland has officially been confirmed to compete at the 2025 Motocross of Nations, which is set to take place at Ironman Raceway in the United States.

The Irish Motocross Commission met on Tuesday, 29th July, to discuss the country’s involvement in the prestigious event. Martin Barr, who expressed a strong desire to ensure Ireland is represented, attended the meeting with a proposal to lead fundraising efforts. While Barr will take charge of raising the necessary finances, Richard McKeown has been appointed as Team Manager.

The Commission has now reversed its earlier decision not to attend due to financial limitations, and preparations are underway with team selection set to be made in the coming weeks.

Team Ireland Confirmed for 2025 Motocross of Nations in the USA.

The Irish Motocross Commission met on Tuesday, 29th July, to discuss Ireland’s potential participation in the 2025 Motocross of Nations, set to take place at Ironman Raceway in the USA.

Rider Martin Barr expressed strong interest in taking full control of raising the finances to field a team for the prestigious international event. He was invited to attend the meeting to present his proposal, and while Martin himself will take the lead on fundraising efforts, Richard McKeown was appointed as Team Manager.

Following detailed discussions, the Commission has officially confirmed that Team Ireland will participate in the 2025 MX of Nations, reversing an earlier decision not to attend due to financial constraints.

Team selection will take place in the coming weeks, as preparations for the event are now fully underway.
