Experienced Italian, Stefano Pezzuto is gearing up for a fresh challenge in 2026 after officially signing with the Millionaire Racing Team. The experienced Italian has spent the bulk of his career focused on domestic competition, most notably aboard a 450cc, but the upcoming season marks a significant shift as he transitions to the MX2 class.
Pezzuto will contest the MX2 Italian Championship next year, taking on a new category and new machinery as he lines up on a Honda under the ambitious Millionaire Racing Team structure. The move signals a renewed push from both rider and team, with Pezzuto’s consistency and race craft expected to be valuable assets as he adapts to the smaller capacity bike.
He will join forces with Nicholas Lapucci, who has already been confirmed for the MX1 campaign and selected MXGP World Championship rounds. Together, the duo gives Millionaire Racing a strong and well-balanced rider pairing across both premier Italian categories.
With Pezzuto’s wealth of national experience and a motivated squad behind him, the 2026 season is shaping up to be an exciting new chapter for the Italian.
The team confirmed the news via social media:
The final move by Team Manager Michele Caprioli, who at the last minute today has signed the strong rider Stefano Pezzuto.
Born in 1991 and originally from Piedmont, Pezzuto brings plenty of experience from national and international races, along with many titles won across various classes. After ten years, Stefano and the team have decided it’s time for him to return to the Honda CRF 250 to battle with the young talents of MX2.
For the 2026 season, Stefano will compete in the Italian MX2 Championship, the Internazionali d’Italia MX2, and a few rounds of the Lombardy Regional Championship.
Welcome to the Millionaire family.
Michele Caprioli (Team Manager):
“We’re super happy to have reached an agreement with Stefano and, above all, to return to the 250 class after several years away. With our experience and the support of Red Moto, we’ll try to give our best to achieve big goals throughout the season, and we’re sure Stefano will put on a great show”.
Thanks to those who support us, to those who allow us to keep moving forward, and to everyone who cares about us… See you at the track
