Coming into the 2025 campaign, Pelle Gundersen had planned to focus on the EMX250 series, but as the year progressed his direction changed. After sampling the MX2 World Championship, the Norwegian talent made the switch of emphasis to end the season racing the World Championship – it proved to be a smart move.
Gundersen not only scored MX2 World Championship points but also caught the eye of the Norwegian federation, earning selection to represent his country at the Motocross of Nations at Ironman. The experience and exposure have set him up well for the next step in his career.
Looking ahead to 2026, It has been confirmed that Gundersen will continue with Husqvarna Scandinavia. The new agreement will see him contest all the European rounds of the MX2 World Championship, while also lining up in the MX2 Swedish Championship – a series he’ll aim to fight for at the sharp end.

With continuity behind him and a clearer programme ahead, Gundersen will be hoping 2026 becomes another year of steady progress – and one that will see him improve racing against the best MX2 riders in the world.
