We recently reported that the Meuwissen family are set to launch a new Motocross team in 2026 and the news has now been officially confirmed.
The Meuwissen family have joined forces with the MX Academy Honda outfit based in Switzerland to create a new structure that will enter the Grand Prix paddock next year.
The team will have an MXGP World Championship rider as well as EMX250 and WMX riders. We’ll let you know when the riders have been confirmed.

A new chapter begins… MX Academy Honda and Meuwissen Motorsports join forces for 2026!
Together, we are launching a brand-new team that will compete in the MXGP, EMX250, and WMX classes.
This project is the result of an exclusive collaboration between MX Academy Switzerland and Meuwissen Motorsports.
There are no third parties or other individuals involved – the team is fully powered by these two organizations. One vision. One team.
Soon, we will reveal the riders who have signed and will represent us in the 2026 season. Stay tuned!
