It was a strong 2025 season for Mads Fredsoe as he continued to make progress in his second year racing the 250cc. After making the switch from the Beddini GasGas outfit to Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna, the Danish rider enjoyed plenty of success.
Fredsoe clinched the ADAC Youngsters Cup title in Germany and also impressed in the EMX250 series, finishing ninth in the championship despite missing four rounds due to injury. One of the highlights came at the opening round in Cozar, where he got on the podium in extremely challenging conditions – the perfect way to start the year.
The good news for both Fredsoe and the team is that he will remain with Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna squad for the 2026 season. The Dane will now target an EMX250 title challenge, especially after gaining more experience and with another strong winter of preparation ahead.
Liam Owens has also been confirmed to stay with the team for 2026, with the third rider expected to be announced in due course.
“I’m really happy that I’ll continue working together with the Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna team for the 2026 season. We’ve shown good things this year with an ADAC title, one EMX250 podium and decent results. Unfortunately, an injury mid season cost me a bit in the EMX250 class. We’re going to work really hard like always and we want to be on top of the EMX250 class next year”, Fredsoe told GateDrop.com.
“We’re thrilled to extend our contract with Mads for another season. Our first year together – especially in the ADAC – was a great success, and I’m confident that with another winter of preparation, Mads can deliver the same level of performance in the EMX. We’re all looking forward to working hard to make the 2026 season even more successful”, Andre Stumpf (team manager) told GateDrop.com.
