Liam Owens had his first podium of the year at the gnarly Arnhem track at the weekend in what was a fantastic ride from the Australian.
The Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna have now confirmed even more good news for the Aussie as he’ll remain with the team for the 2026 season. With another strong off season behind him he should be even stronger next year – he’ll be hoping for plenty more podiums.
The Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna team have also done a great job since bursting onto the EMX250 championship scene and will hope to continue as they gain more experience.
Liam Owens: I am pumped to be with Cat Moto again for 2026. I am already getting excited for this off season to take the next step as a rider and fight for wins and a championship in the EMX250 class next season.
Andre Stumpt (team manager): We’re excited to extend Liam’s contract for another year. It’s been amazing to see him show everyone lately what we’ve believed in since signing him two years ago. We’ll keep pushing together so Liam can fight for the title in 2026!
