BTS KTM rider Jens Walvoort is set to make his return to racing this weekend at the fifth round of the MX2 World Championship at Arco di Trento.
The Dutch talent has been on the sidelines after suffering a fracture to his C6 and C7 vertebrae. Despite attempting to race the second round in Cozar, the pain proved too much and he was forced to sit out the remainder of the weekend.
As a result, Walvoort also missed the French and Riola rounds while focusing on his recovery. The good news for fans is that he has recently been back on the bike, and his team has now confirmed his return to action in Italy.
It’s a welcome boost for Walvoort and BTS KTM as they look to get his season back on track.
It’ll also be nice to see the team back in the paddock after they recently parted ways with Oriol Oliver, it meant they didn’t travel to Riola but they’re back in Arco di Trento.
