Italian based team, Ghidinelli Racing have announced their plans for the 2025 season and it is quite a change for the team.
After ten years of collaboration with Yamaha Racing, the team have a new opportunity as they’ve made the switch to orange and will run KTM machinery for the 2025 season. The team have also signed up three strong riders to take on the EMX250 championship.
Elias Escandell who was a Factory Fantic rider in the EMX125 class before his rookie EMX250 season this year with the RFME GasGas team has signed a deal with the team. He’ll hope to be stronger in what will be his second year in the competitive EMX250 class.
Another rider that has been with Fantic in the past is, Alexis Fueri but he’ll also move on from the manufacturer this year and has inked a deal with the Ghidinelli KTM. The French talent has good potential and is especially strong in hard pack conditions.
Last but not least, after spending the season on TM machinery and doing a good job in the EMX125 class, Brando Rispoli has a new challenge for the 2025 season as he’ll move up to the EMX250 championship in what will be his rookie season. He’ll hope to learn from his two more experienced team mates and improve as the season goes on.
The team have three strong riders to take on the EMX250 championship and will hope to run at the sharp end of the hotly contested series.
As well as the EMX250 championship, the Ghidinelli KTM team will also contest the Italian Prestige championship and the International Italian series which will be used to prepare for the upcoming season.
