Young Chilean talent, Cesar Paine, continues to make steady progress since moving to Europe to chase his Motocross dreams. After spending the 2025 season with Team Seven Motorsports in what was his final year in the EMX125 Championship, Paine impressed with several top ten results despite missing the opening three rounds of the series due to injury.
Looking ahead to 2026, Paine will take the next step in his career as he moves up to the EMX250 Championship, signing with Max Bart Motorsport to remain on Husqvarna machinery. The Chilean will continue to be based in Italy, a country that has quickly become his European home base.
In addition to contesting the EMX250 series, Paine will also line up in the Italian MX2 Championship, giving him plenty of racing opportunities as he adapts to the bigger bike.
Speaking to GateDrop.com, Paine shared his excitement about joining the new team:
“The reason why I chose Max Bart Motorsports is because I’ve always thought it’s an amazing team with a lot of experience in this sport. My expectations for 2026 are, of course, to achieve good results in the EMX250 and the Italian MX2 Prestige. I feel really good on the bike – I even did some races with it during the final part of this season – so I’m super hyped to race in the EMX250 and can’t wait to get started.”
With solid support and growing experience in Europe, 2026 will be all about learning for the promising young rider from Chile as it’ll be his rookie season in the very competitive EMX250 series.
