The highlight of Mitchell’s season came at the final round of the championship at Lyng. In what was undoubtedly the standout performance of his career so far, Mitchell stormed to victory in the opening moto — his first ever British Championship race win. He then followed that up with a strong second place in race two, securing an impressive second overall on the day.

With another solid winter of preparation ahead and the knowledge that he can now win at this level, Mitchell will enter the 2026 season with renewed belief and motivation. Staying with the same team gives him valuable continuity, allowing him to keep building on the foundations already in place with the Oakleaf Worx Total Triumph crew.

Both rider and team share the same ambitions – to consistently battle at the front and establish themselves among the top contenders in the MX2 British Championship. With Mitchell’s growing experience and confidence, and the team’s ongoing support and professionalism, 2026 has all the makings of another exciting and progressive season for both parties.

“I’m happy to stay with the team that really rebooted my MX2 career for next season. With an unbelievable finish to the 2025 British Championship I’m really happy where I am and I believe with the win under my belt it’s time to reset and do it again. Towards the end of the season we were working hard to set the bike up and was making progress each race”, Mitchell told GateDrop.com.

“The team are working hard, creating funding so I can ride a bit more and to give it a real good shot next season and start where we left off. Thank you to all our sponsors staying on board and to the new ones jumping on. With out your help it wouldn’t be possible. 2026 –  let’s go”, concluded Mitchell.
