Earlier today, Infront Moto Racing released the provisional entry list for the 2025 Motocross of Nations, set to take place at Ironman in October. The list featured Ben Watson as part of Team GB alongside Conrad Mewse and Dylan Walsh for the event heading to America.
However, Watson has now confirmed he will not be racing the event. The British talent took to social media to clarify the situation, posting:
“No MXoN for me. Grateful to be selected for Team GB again, but decisions out of my hands meant myself and the @mrtracing_team_beta couldn’t be there. I am sorry.”
Watson’s absence is a big blow for Team GB, who will now have to turn to other options as team manager Mark Chamberlain looks for a replacement. Among the riders who could be considered are Adam Sterry, Josh Gilbert, Dean Wilson, and potentially others depending on form and availability.
With the Motocross of Nations fast approaching, all eyes will be on Chamberlain’s final decision as Team GB aim to put forward the strongest possible line-up for the prestigious event.
