Official: Alberto Forato inks deal with SR Motoblouz Honda


After the Standing Construct Honda team announced they were closing their doors after the 2024 MXGP World Championship season, Alberto Forato has been on the look out for a new ride.

The SR Motoblouz Honda team have now confirmed that they have signed up the likeable Italian for the 2025 season to contest the MXGP World Championship as well as the French Elite series.

After being based in Belgium with the Standing Construct Honda team, Forato will now be based in France and be coached by Yves Demaria.

Forato will join Kevin Horgmo under the SR Motoblouz Honda awning for the 2025 season which is a strong rider line up for MXGP.

Forato had an injury to deal with this year which meant he missed a lot of racing but once he returned he improved and by the end of the season was close to being back to his best. He’ll hope to take that into the 2025 season and start the season swinging.
