The 2025 FIM Motocross World Championship turns north from the island of Sardegna and heads to the gloriously picturesque Pietramurata circuit for its fifth round, the Monster Energy MXGP of Trentino!

This round is the closest thing that Slovenian legend Tim Gajser has to a home Grand Prix, and a legion of his fans always make the short trip to the Italian mountainsides to get behind their man! Mixed with already enthusiastic Italian supporters, the atmosphere is always out of this world, making Trentino a real attraction for Motocross fans across the world.  Tim is going for a record sixth Grand Prix win at this circuit to ensure his Honda HRC machine continues to display the Championship leader’s red plate!

There is a special return to action for Italian legend Antonio Cairoli, racing for the Aruba.it Ducati Factory MX Team at a circuit which holds many special memories for him and his fans! His very presence will certainly add to the attendance at the race, and he will also be up against his old rival Jeffrey Herlings. Like Gajser, each man has won five times around these hills and will be fired up to perform well again.

Kay de Wolf re-asserted himself at the top of MX2 at the MXGP of Sardegna, and now leads the Championship fight which sees four riders within 14 points of him! Simon Laengenfelder, Liam Everts, and home hero Andrea Adamo all have winning history in Trentino and are eager to take back the advantage!
