Race One: Joe Brookes took a brilliant opening moto win, edging away from championship leader, Tommy Searle, as the race went on. Searle fought hard to hold off Oliver, Heyman and Mustoe to take second and increase his championship lead.
Brookes said: “The last lap, after I got around that long left harder, I thought, ‘I’m good now!’ I’m so happy”.
Race Two: Oriol Oliver took the second moto win and the overall victory with Karssemakers second in the moto and Eddie Jay Wade a storming third, he was even as high as second until he went down in an impressive return to the British championship scene. Tommy Searle had a bad start but still took fifth to make the podium after Charlie Heyman crashes out of the top three.
