Race One: Calum Mitchell rode a superb race at the front of the field to bring home his first MX2 race win – but you wouldn’t have thought it he was so comfortable at the front of the pack. What a ride and no surprise to see him go mad when he won!
Oriol Oliver ended up second after having to make a couple of passes but there was championship drama! Tommy Searle had a wheel issue which meant a DNF. Charlie Heyman finished third after Joe Brookes had a crash when he was third.
Glenn McCormick had a superb ride for fourth with Ollie Colmer rounding out the top five.
Race Two: Oliver rode much more like himself and after starting third got himself to the front to dominate.
Mitchell had another strong race to finish second with Ollie Colmer having a much better race for third.
Heyman finished fourth with Searle in fifth which was enough to give the latter the title. He also confirmed he’ll be back to defend his title next year – so no retirement just yet!
