Race One: Liam Everts dominated after passing Kay Karssemakers who had grabbed the holeshot. Everts never looked back and won by a gap of over forty seconds.
The impressive Scott Smulders was in second and in a battle with Mathis Valin before the French rider went over the bars – he managed to get back sixth. Dani Heitink will be happy with his ride in fourth with Mads Fredsoe rounding out the top five.
Race Two: It was a similar story for Everts in race two as he totally dominated yet again. Dani Heitink had an impressive ride to finish second in the deep sand.
Gyan Doensen was solid in third position with Mads Fredsoe going one better in race two for fourth – very consistent. Valin could only manage fifth – perhaps feeling the effects from the crash in race one.
