Race One: It was 450cc rookies, Andrea Adamo and Oriol Oliver who led the way on the first lap as they got great starts. Adamo was looking very smooth on what is his first race on the bigger bike.

Lucas Coenen was on the move and didn’t take long to get to the front and pull away from the rest of the pack – he ended up winning by nearly third seconds.

Brent van Doninck was riding well on the Fantic and looked to bring home third after passing Oliver but a technical problem on the final lap meant he couldn’t finish.

Mattia Guadagnini was holding off Tim Gajser who didn’t get a good start but then crashed – the Slovenian would then return the favour which allowed the Italian to finish fourth.

Race Two: Coenen had a bit more work to do in the second race as he was fifth on the first lap but it didn’t take him long to make quick passes and get to the front passing Gajser and Adamo to pull away at the front.

Adamo was looking comfortable in second and pulled away from Gajser before a bike issue meaning a DNF. Gajser in the end came home in second to end up second overall.

It was a tough track for Forato to make a return to racing but it didn’t bother him as he passed Oliver to finish a strong third. Oliver ended up fourth to secure third overall on his 450cc debut!
