Race One:  Conrad Mewse passed early race leader to take the win with Gilbert holding off Purdon and Hammal for second despite not being full strength.

Mewse said: “Just wanted to take my time, the track is tough, it’s edgy, slidy. You can’t go 110% effort because the track will bite you.”

Race Two: Conrad Mewse won again but this time he had to work hard for it! Mewse gated tenth with Sterry and Gilbert up front and from there, Mewse had to push hard. He got to third the set his sights on the front two, making the pass on Gilbert after the halfway mark and started the close the gap on Sterry. Mewse finally made the move with three laps to go but Sterry kept pace with Mewse on the final two laps, not letting Conrad relent at all in an exciting final MX1 moto, but ultimately, Mewse got the job done again.

Mewse said: “That was a tough race, that was hard, these boys are riding good. I didn’t get the best starts, I know when I start next to Josh it’s going to be difficult. Just tried to push to the front without taking any risks and unfortunately that wasn’t much faster than the guys in front were going, so I done what I had to do. We kept our streak, only just!”
