Max Anstie got out of rhythm in the first qualifying session and had to jump off the bike but his left leg bot buckled upon landing adn Anstie immediately went to hold his leg. Anstie, just one point off the lead of the championship, was intent on getting that red plate back after such a strong start to the season.
The session was red flagged to allow Anstie to get medical attention as he got taken away to the medical centre to get his leg looked at.
