Levi Kitchen was riding greeay once again but a huge crash in the heat and yet another first turn crash derailed his night as the Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider rode down the tunnel and out of the race after his third first turn crash in a row saw him get hit by another rider.
Kitchen, who made no mention of injury in his post race quote, said: “This was a tough night. I felt really good coming into the main event and had the speed to be up front, but things didn’t go my way, and it put me in a tough position. It’s frustrating because I know what I’m capable of, but this is part of racing, and all you can do is learn from it and reset.”
