Ken Roczen provided some great entertainment at the MXoN at Matterley Basin with some great battles with Jeffrey Herlings throughout the weekend. It was a battle that provided a throwback to 14 years ago, when the duo were teenage phenomenon’s battling for GP wins at 15/16. Now, with both hitting 30 they are still at the sharp end of the sport, still winning and still battling each other despite all the injuries. It was an awesome sight to see.

In the end Roczen went 10-10 with Germany sixth overall and Ken even found himself battling the latest teenage phenomenon, Lucas Coenen.

Roczen said: “My MxoN was obviously not as good as last year but that didn’t keep me from enjoying what we do. We had some good speed in the beginning of the motos but I couldn’t ride lose enough to finish it off. I’m sure I’ll be back in the future for some redemption and some better preparation for Mx. Massive thanks to the team @l_brooks @hepmotorsports for coming over with me. It’s always great to be around the EU fans and the EU moto industry. I only get to see them once a year so it was nice catching up with everyone. Big thanks to @simon_516 and @naglmax12 for their effort! We will be back 🤘🏽”
