Despite being the fastest man on the planet for most of his career, Jeffrey Herlings has declared Jett Lawrence as the current fastest man on the planet unless he can beat him straight up at a MXoN!
Jeffrey said on a recent interview with MX1onboard: “I’m one of the fastest guys, yes, I will not deny that, especially over 10-15 years. I’m not saying I am the fastest guy (now). For me, Jett Lawrence is the fastest guy. If I would beat him straight up in the nations or whatever, then maybe I am!
“But as of right now, I just try to do my best and I know, you know, the results don’t lie. You know, I’ve won 113 GPs, I think 215 moto wins, 160 podiums. All of them are almost records. So, you know, that doesn’t lie about my speed. But still, you know, to be the fastest guy on the planet, it’s a big, it’s a big statement. I don’t think I’m there right now, but I should be at the top five or top ten, at least, yeah.”
