Eli Tomac revealed he won’t be using the scoop tyre at every race this year after having issues in the whoops in Australia during WSX, and that he still gets butterflies at A1!
Eli told us: “We’ve made improvements. Biggest thing was actually that tyre, especially the whoops, I mean, look, I was getting killed there.There’s no question about it. We fixed that area, and yeah, that was the one thing, like, wow, we ran into something that we weren’t really ready for, and finally it kind of showed itself. I mean, I ran that tyre, we were running an SMX last year, like in (various) conditions.I mean, basically, on the podium, we all had that tire on, so for me, I basically found the limit for it.”
