Injury update: Janis Reisulis – OUT for the season

This year the very talented, Janis Reisulis moved up to the EMX250 championship after clinching the EMX125 title last year.

Unfortunately, after the opening round in Spain which was his EMX250 debut, Reisulis picked up an injury and the full extent of the injury has now been revealed.

Reisulis picked up a knee injury and it has now been revealed he will miss the rest of the season – he won’t be back on the bike until October.

The following update was posted below:

“Lately, many motorsport fans have been asking where Jānis Reišulis has disappeared to, when we will be able to see him again on the track. To dispel all kinds of rumours, we would like to inform you that last week in France, in the orthopedic clinic of Lyon, Jānis underwent knee cruciate ligament surgery.

Tomorrow he returns to Latvia and will start a rehabilitation course .This season is over for Jānis. He could get back on the bike in October and then start preparing for the next season. Jānis says thank you very much to everyone for the well wishes”.
