After a brilliant performance all day at Daytona, Drew crashed in the whoops while running top five ending his night early with a broken thumb.
Adams was still hoping he could ride this weekend but Pro Circuit Kawasaki have announced the 17 year old talent now needs surgery forcing more time on the sidelines for Adams just when it looked like he had went to the next level. Supercross is a tough sport!
Pro Circuit Kawasaki said: “Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Drew Adams will miss Round 9 of @SupercrossLIVE due to a broken thumb sustained at Daytona. Drew will undergo surgery this week to address the injury.”
