It was an HRC Honda 1-2 in the first MXGP session of the year with Jeffrey Herlings on top from Tom Vialle who is back from the US.
Lucas Coenen was fourth fastest with Pauls Jonass fourth. Maxime Renaux rounded out the top five.
Tim Gajser was sixth with reigning champion, Romain Febvre seventh.
In MX2, Sacha Coenen was fastest and was the only rider in the 1:55’s. Reigning champion, Simon Längenfelder was second fastest in a KTM 1-2.
Valerio Lata was third fastest with rookie, Janis Reisulis fourth quickest. Guillem Farres rounded out the top five on his Triumph machine.
