In the first EMX250 session, it was Francisco Garcia who topped the group after his perfect opening round of the series. Alexis Fueri put in the second fastest time on his Beta two-stroke machine.
Áron Katona was third fastest on his Van Venrooy KTM over Mano Faure so the rookies are looking fast. Lyonel Reichl rounded out the top five.
British riders Joe Brookes and Billy Askew were sixth and fourteenth quickest respectively.
In group two, Francesco Bellei was fastest on his Cat Moto KTM machine. After a difficult first round for Ducati, Simone Mancini is looking stronger in the hard pack as he was second fastest in the group.
Jake Cannon was third fastest with MX Handel riders, Sebastian Leok and Nicolai Skovbjerg rounding out the top five.
Cole McCullough put in the thirteenth quickest time in his session – less than two seconds off the pace.
