Young Italian, Filippo Mantovani set the pace in the first EMX125 free practice session at Kegums. Nicolo Alvisi was second fastest.
Dutch talent, Dani Heitink was third with Bulgarian, Vencislav Toshev fourth and Francesco Bellei rounding out the top five.
In group two, Niccolo Mannini put his TM at the top of the timesheets. Jarne Bervoets is back and was second fastest on his MJC Yamaha.
Jekabs Kubulins was third fastest with Finnish rider, Arttu Sahlstén fourth with Ricardo Bauer rounding out the top five.
