In the first group, it was Francesco Bellei putting in the best lap right at the last to go top. Aron Katona was second fastest after his impressive win in the sand last week at Riola Sardo.
Cole McCullough was looking fast and set the third fastest time but just three tenths off. Jarne Bervoets was fourth quickest with Nicky Mannini rounding out the top five. Hayden Statt was fast setting the thirteenth quickest time.
In the second group, Mano Faure set a very fast lap – faster than the first group and the only rider to get into the 1:46’s – he loves the hard pack conditions!
Nicolo Alvisi set the second fastest time over Dutch talent, Dani Heitink who will be hoping for better starts this weekend.
