An emotional Romain Febvre gave Kawasaki their first MXGP title in the current format after using his experience to beat the 18 year old phenom, Lucas Coenen, to the 2025 MXGP world title ten years after winning his first MXGP title!
Overcome with happiness and relief, Febvre said: “I have nothing to say. So many emotions coming up. That was the goal, to become world champion again, at least I did it once more. I don’t know what to say. I want to thank Kawasaki, Monster Energy and all my sponsors. It has been a tough year but I have managed it really well, I was really prepared for this and came out on top.”
