Evan Ferry has had a turbulent start to his professional career. The son of former long-time factory level pro, and 125 East coast champ, Tim Ferry, Evan hasn’t been able to show the same potential on the race track but he does look fast on Instagram!
Ferry, who left Triumph last year, wasn’t happy they didn’t let him post, “Instabangers,” when the bike was yet to be revealed and after a tough start to the season, Ferry and Triumph would part ways leaving Evan a privateer outdoors where he gradually improved to be a top 20 riders.
Now, for 2025, Ferry has another shot at it. Phoenix Honda, the team that Dylan Ferrandis is with, has given Ferry another shot on a team albeit non-factory. It’s not easy with a successful father, it adds pressure but Ferry has to turn that Insta speed into race results at the highest level.
He has a good team and an experienced teammate in Ferrandis, let’s see what “lil Red” can do on red in 2025.
