After a strong season that secured his 7th in the MX2 world championship, factory Yamaha rider, Rick Elzinga, has announced he won’t be lining up this weekend after his crash in China.
Elzinga said on Instagram: “Sadly I wonât be racing in the final GP of the seasonâĤ as a precaution following my heavy crash in China. Me ,together with the team and Yamaha decided to sit the Spanish GP out. No major injuries, but my head needs a little more rest before I can race again. My 7th place in the World Championship standings is already secure so now my focus will shift to 2025.”
