It seems the rumours over the weekend were true. Ducati have finally secured two riders for their AMA debut season in 2026.
And it is a strong start for the iconic brand Stateside, with Justin Barcia and Dylan Ferrandis both securing a deal with the Ducati TLD team, according to PulpMX’s Steve Matthes.
With Antonio Cairoli showing how good the standard bike is in the two Nationals he has raced and going top ten, even battling with Barcia, the riders now know Ducati are the real deal with Barcia seeing the bike up close in race action battling one of the best of all time for top ten.
Both riders know what it takes to win at the highest level, both are known for giving their all and are popular riders with the fans, with Ferrandis also giving some international flavour. For Ducati it will be a buliding and learning year, especially with supercross but as the MXGP team are showing, they learn quickly.
Matthes stated: “Ducati should be 51 & 14 next year. Red Bull helmets, TLD gear/helmets. Good for Dylan.”
The TLD Ducati squad will certainly look the part from the bike to the gear and they have the riders to do a decent job on track too. It is exciting times for the brand and fans of the sport to see Ducati under the bright lights and huge exposure of AMA supercross in just a few months time!
