Deegan on a heated night in Seattle

It was a wild night in Seattle for Haiden Deegan with crashes and getting into it with rival Julien Beaumer – but it was also a dramatic day for dad, Brian, who had flight issues before he even got to the drama around Haiden!

This had to be one of the craziest 24 hour trips we’ve had. It started at 5 AM went to airport when TSA power went out and we missed our flight many hours later filling time eating airport food we made it to Seattle literally getting to bed about midnight which is 3 AM Florida time to get up the next day and go to the track. I knew it was gonna be a long day, especially with all the drama unfolding. And Thor had something up their sleeve, which I thought was only fitting.. I didn’t even know what happened at the podium because I got there late. Duffe tried to explain it to me. I’m like what else . Must say as a father, my emotions at that point were already shot literally toasted. 🤣 .

It’s very hard to watch your kids race sometimes, there’s so many highs and lows, especially when they crash. Just glad Haiden never gave up. That’s what makes parents the most proud. There is so many funny stories from this weekend. I must say the only thing cool about social media is scrolling back and seeing what actually all went down as I get older, the only thing I can do is just laugh. Life goes by way too fast to take it too serious.. anyhow it was cool to see the massive amount of fans. . Glad to see Supercross is on its way to being cool again like the 90s ! 🤟🏻”

While Haiden said:

He grabbed my helmet first and I was like, ‘don’t touch me,’ it is what it is, it’s racing. Someone said he said he was going to get payback or whatever but we will see..

“A wild night of racing.Overall, take the postives, gained some more points in the championship so that is awesome. Going to grind the next couple of weeks and get my bike better, I struggled with bike set-up and I can blame myself too, I didn’t test enough in the off-season or my weeks off. I can take some of the blame. Ready to go and get the bike 100%.”
