Julius Mikula has shown strong flashes of speed throughout the 2025 MX2 World Championship on-board his TM Racing machine, but unfortunately his GP season has now come to an early end.

The Czech rider has confirmed that he won’t be making the trip to Turkey, China or Australia for the final three rounds of the MX2 World Championship, with TM deciding not to contest those events. It brings Mikula’s GP season to a close after a year of progress and solid results.

Adding to the disappointment, the Czech Federation also recently announced they won’t be sending a team to the Motocross of Nations at Ironman Raceway, meaning Mikula will not line up there either. His only remaining outing for 2025 will be the final round of the Italian Championship at Arco di Trento.

Mikula shared the following message with fans on social media:

“Hey everyone, I’ve got some sad news… I won’t be racing in the last three rounds of this year’s World Championship. The team has decided not to attend these races, and while I respect their decision, I know it’s disappointing for all of us.

I want you to know that I’m ready and excited to race. I’ve given everything this season and really wanted to fight until the end, but unfortunately, that’s not possible right now.

I’ll be closing out the season at the Italian Championship in Arco di Trento.”

It’s a frustrating end to what had been a promising campaign for the Czech talent, but he will now look to finish the Italian series strongly before turning his focus towards 2026.
