Another big name has signed up for the Valkenswaard Dutch National this weekend – this time in the form of Lotte van Drunen.
The youngest ever WMX champ lined up in the MX2 World Championship at Lommel and she will once again race against the men at Valkenswaard this weekend.
The following press release broke the news:
In addition to Kay de Wolf, we have another world champion who will race in the Dutch MX Season Final in Valkenswaard next Sunday. Lotte van Drunen managed to become the youngest world champion ever in the women’s category this year and will compete in the 250 class on Sunday.
Van Drunen also participated in the Grand Prix MX2 in Lommel this year in which she managed to score a World Championship point. In addition, she has several Dutch titles behind her name as well, all achieved among the boys. She is familiar with this and will do everything she can to battle with them in Valkenswaard as well.
Just like with Jeffrey Herlings and Kay de Wolf, this day is also about spending time with her fans. There is an autograph session on the program in Valkenswaard and a meet and greet where Lotte is present. If you want an autograph, poster or a picture with her, come to Valkenswaard this Sunday!
