Confirmed: Brad Todd reveals plans to contest AMA Pro Motocross series in 2026

British rider Brad Todd has announced exciting plans for 2026 as he’s set to take on a new challenge racing in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in the United States. While his programme is still coming together, Todd confirmed that the move overseas has been made possible thanks to the support of DK Off-Road and the Neesam family.

The popular privateer revealed that a manufacturer switch is likely on the cards, although no official deals are in place yet for bikes, kit, or parts. Todd also expressed his desire to partner with British brands as he prepares to fly the flag for the UK on American soil.

Despite fully committing to racing in the U.S., he hasn’t ruled out appearances at select British and Scottish Championship rounds, depending on the schedule. It’s a bold step for the determined racer, who says this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity he’s determined to make happen.

Todd confirmed the news in the below social media post:

My 2026 plans are still a bit of a work in progress.. It is true I’m going to compete in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship overseas.

This opportunity is not possible without a great sponsor of mine DK off-road and all the Neesam family.

I’m pretty certain I’m on for a manufacturer change as it stands but nothing is solid yet. I do not have any part deals with any companies. I have no kit deal in place.

There is going to be a lot of money thrown into the travelling, and getting myself set up for it, I’ll still be my own team essentially, but this is something that will never happen again in my lifetime if I don’t go for it so I’ll make it happen one way or another… You will still see me at the odd British and Scottish championship when the calendars come out most likely. But I’m fully committing to USA.

The bike and kit are a pretty blank canvas at the moment. But It would be pretty cool to have some British brands on board to help fly the flag over there. Any motocross part companies/distributors out there, give me a shout.

As for now I’ll keep working on it. Any advice or help with contacts would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for everyone’s support, it’s been a pretty crazy year.
