Confirmed: 2026 Lierop International date revealed

The Dutch Motocross season opener which takes place at the brutal Lierop circuit is back for the 2026 season. Usually the event runs the weekend before the MXGP opener but that has changed for next year.

The event will be held on the 1st of March – the weekend after the opening round of the MXGP World Championship.

The start of the Dutch motocross season will take place on Sunday, March 1st, at the legendary Herselse Bossen circuit in Lierop.

The first three editions were won by Kay de Wolf, Jeffrey Herlings, Brent van Doninck, and Romain Febvre.

Who will take the victory in the fourth edition? The organizers are already working hard to attract a strong line-up of riders to Lierop, ensuring it will once again be an unforgettable day of motocross.
