Ricky Carmichael says he couldn’t believe it when Suzuki went for the salary his manager had asked… getting pretty much the $5 million dollars a year he was asking for. Even RC thought his manager was asking for an unobtainable number!
“My manager asks would you be interested in riding a Suzuki…I’m like, I don’t know, man…give me a couple days to wrap my head around it. He calls me a couple of days later and said what if I asked the for $5 million a year for three years? I said, “dude you’re crazy there is no shot.’
