Adam Sterry on 2025 GB MXoN selection: Just didn’t get picked


Team GB has just been announced for the 2025 MXoN and it didn’t include Adam Sterry – to somewhat of a surprise. The British talent has been racing the MXGP World Championship and been posting some good results in what is a stacked field.

Sterry said he would have been open to racing any of the classes whether it be MXGP or the Open class or even in the MX2 class.

The Brit confirmed he just never got asked to represent team GB for this years event. Whilst he is naturally disappointed he sends his best wishes to the team at this years event.

Sterry posted the following message on social media:

“Having received so many messages I’d like to clear up the rumours about nations.

Obviously disappointed to not be selected and disappointed with how the whole situation has been handled. I have a great team behind me, Chambers Racing, KTM and great personal sponsors and it was not due to lack of funds or desire as I would have happily rode 250cc or a 450cc. The bottom line is I just didn’t get picked.

I wish the boys the best of luck! See you all Motul ACU British Championship for the last race of the season”.
