The Corse CRD Motorsport – Fly Racing team have confirmed their plans for the 2027 season, with the Italian outfit set to focus on the EMX125 European Championship within the MXGP paddock.
The team have secured the signatures of talented Italian brothers Edoardo and Pietro Riganti, who will both compete on TM machinery with official support from the manufacturer.
Edoardo Riganti targeting to run at the front in EMX125
Edoardo enjoyed a strong 2026 campaign in the EMX125 European Championship, finishing the series in 12th position. With another season of experience under his belt, he will be looking to take another step forward in 2027 and establish himself as a front-runner in the highly competitive championship.
The Italian has already demonstrated plenty of potential, and the new partnership with TM and Corse CRD Motorsport – Fly Racing will provide him with an opportunity to continue his development.
Pietro Riganti makes EMX125 move
His younger brother, Pietro, will also join the team for the 2027 season as he makes the step up to the EMX125 European Championship. Pietro’s chapter in the 85cc class is now over, with the talented youngster preparing for a new challenge on the bigger 125cc machinery.
The move will see the Riganti brothers compete together in the EMX125 category, representing TM as they continue their progression through the European motocross ranks.
Morgan Bennati also joins the team
The team have also confirmed the signing of Morgan Bennati, who will ride the TM MX 250 ES FI 2T in the MX2 class. However, his main focus for the 2027 season will be racing in Italy, where he will compete in the Italian Pro Prestige Championship.
With the Riganti brothers targeting progress in EMX125 and Bennati focusing on the Italian championship, Corse CRD Motorsport – Fly Racing have their plans in place for the upcoming 2027 season.
The Corse CRD motorsport Fly team confirmed the news via the following press release:
“We are pleased to announce the line-up for the 2027 season of the CRD Motorsport – Fly Over team. Brothers Edoardo and Pietro Riganti will compete on the TM MX 125 ES, managed by our team with official support from TM Moto”.
“Their racing programme will include the Internazionali d’Italia MX, the EMX125 European Championship and the Italian Junior 125 Under 17 Championship. Edoardo, born in 2010, enjoyed an excellent 2026 season, finishing 12th in the EMX125 European Championship and fourth in the Italian Junior 125 Championship. Pietro, born in 2012, wrapped up a very positive 2026 by winning the Italian Senior 85 title, although an injury midway through the season forced him to miss the European Championship final in his category”.
“Edoardo will make his debut on the new bike at the Internazionali d’Italia SX races at EICMA in Milan, while Pietro will have to wait until next year for his first race on the TM. However, both riders have already had the opportunity to get familiar with their new machines and have demonstrated impressive speed”.
“Joining them will be Morgan Bennati, who will ride the TM MX 250 ES FI 2T in the MX2 class of the Italian Pro Prestige Championship”.
“For the Tuscan rider, following a 2026 season in which he finished inside the top ten of the Elite MX2 Italian Championship and scored some points in the MX2 World Championship, this represents a new challenge. His programme could also see him compete in the one-off final of the 2-Stroke European Championship, which will take place at the end of July in the Czech Republic”.
“Testing for our riders has already begun, and we have a long winter ahead of us to work as hard as possible in preparation for the 2027 season. We would therefore like to give a warm welcome to Edoardo, Pietro and Morgan, and we look forward to achieving the best possible results together”.
