Jeffrey Herlings isn’t content with winning his sixth world title, the factory Honda rider wants to remain umdefeated since Foxhill AND win the Fox holeshot award for year!
In order to do so Herlings needs both holeshots in Australia but, for a rider never really known for great starts, it is quite the opportunity.
Herlings said: “Just one round left and it’d be great to keep this thing going. Haven’t lost anything since Foxhills and I think it’d be cool to see if I can keep that until the end of the season. There is also the holeshot award up for grabs between myself and Tom, so that is like a side-goal this weekend, but I need to get both which will be tough. Australia didn’t really get a fair shot last time with the weather, but I think they did a good job and I think there should be a good amount of fans for this season finale.”
Herlings trying to keep his undefeated streak and going for the holeshot is the biggest intrigue in a class with most storylines already written for the season.
