Seth Hammaker’s 2026 campaign has come to a disappointing end after it was confirmed that the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider will miss the remainder of the season following a crash at the High Point National.
The shoulder injury means Hammaker will be sidelined for the rest of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship as well as the upcoming SMX series, bringing an abrupt end to what had been one of his strongest seasons to date.
It is a bitter blow for the American, who had established himself as a genuine championship contender and even held the red plate earlier in the season. After showing impressive speed and consistency throughout the season, Hammaker will now turn his full attention to recovering and returning at full strength for the 2027 campaign.
Kawasaki confirmed the news with the following statement on social media:
“Rider Updates: Following separate incidents at the High Point National, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders Seth Hammaker and Enzo Temmerman will both be sidelined due to injury.
Seth sustained a shoulder injury and will be on the mend for the remainder of the year.
Enzo will miss Round 5 of Pro Motocross as he continues to recover. Stay tuned for updates on his return to racing. We wish them both a smooth and speedy recovery”.
While Hammaker’s season is unfortunately over, there is better news for teammate Enzo Temmerman, whose absence is currently expected to be limited as he continues his recovery.
