Larry Brooks has revealed in an interview with Swapmoto that he is cancer free after successfully undergoing treatment over the last few months. The HEP Suzuki team manager is now back at the races to help Ken Roczen secure his first 450 AMA Supercross title – what a celebration it would be!
Larry told Donn Maeda: “I’ve just been locked in my house for 3.5 months, going to doctors appointments, it’s been a rough road but honestly it’s not as bad as what I thought it was going to be. All the cancer markers are gone in my blood, that’s really good, I still have six weeks of radiation to go to shrink the tumour so they can go in and operate and take it out but it’s been a long road.”
