After a successful debut season in 2025 in the ADAC MX Masters series, Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing is significantly expanding its involvement for the 2026 season. In its very first year, the Frankfurt-based motorsport team achieved runner-up honours in the MX Masters class with Maximilian Nagl and also secured third place in the team standings.
In the premier MX Masters class, Maximilian Nagl will once again line up for Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing in 2026 with the clear objective of fighting for the championship title. In addition, the team is substantially strengthening its programme in the MX Youngster class: no fewer than three promising young talents will go in pursuit of the championship crown next season.
Jan Krug, who has been regarded as an exceptional talent since 2023 and has impressively demonstrated his potential in the ADAC MX Youngster class with several podium finishes, returns from an injury-related break in excellent physical and mental condition. Riding the Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing Triumph TF 250-X, Krug will be fully prepared to chase points in the 2026 season and will play a central role in the team’s expanded Youngster line-up.
Dörr Motorsport has already been working with Maximilian Werner, considered one of Germany’s most exciting young prospects, since the Stuttgart Supercross. On the unfamiliar Supercross terrain, the young Bavarian impressively showcased his great talent and strong determination despite carrying an injury, underlining his aim to establish himself consistently at the front of the field in the ADAC Youngster Cup during the upcoming outdoor season.
The reigning German Motocross Champion in the DMX 250 class, Eric Rakow, completes the rider trio for the ADAC MX Youngster Cup with his move to Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing. The Neubrandenburg native and ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg development rider looks back on a structured and highly successful career and is taking the next logical step in his sporting development with this team change.
With this strong rider line-up, Dörr Motorsport is taking on the international competition and is confident that the Triumph TF 250-X and TF 450-X models provide the ideal race machinery for these events.
Team manager Niklas Raths summarised:
“With Max Nagl and his exceptional experience, we were able to achieve enormous development steps and successes already in our first year as a newly formed team with a completely new motorcycle. During the off-season, we worked intensively together with Max and the entire team on further improvements. That is why we head into the 2026 season with great confidence and clear ambitions.”
“We are also extremely happy to have secured three outstanding talents – Jan, Maxi and Eric – for the team in the ADAC MX Youngster Cup. In this highly competitive class, the trio will not only demonstrate their individual abilities but will also convincingly showcase the performance of the team and the reliability of the Triumph motocross bikes.”
