Chase Sexton is feeling really positive about his move to Kawasaki, on conversation with Steve Matthes and the Pulp MX crew, saying he feels more at home on the aluminium frame and brings a similar feeling to the Honda that he was on before the switch to KTM.

Sexton said: “It has been really good so far. It definitely brings back memories from when I was on Honda. Getting back on it after riding a steel frame, it brings a lot of memories, it feels good. It feels really playful, I can move around on it, I feel more at one with the bike. I have only ridden it 8 or 9 times, but it has been really fun, the team has been great, a really great group of people to work with and it’s been good, I am having fun.”

It was really refreshing to get back on something that feels like Honda, as far as bar stuff, back to what I was running on Honda, suspension back on Showa, I don’t have any negatives to say. It’s only the start but it’s fresh and fun and I couldn’t be happier.

Sexton also revealed he will be on green for three years not two as many has predicated: “Three year deal, I wanted this to be a long-term thing, I really don’t want to switch teams anymore. I wanted to be confident in my decision so went with three, I am excited. The last couple of years I have went from Honda to KTM and now here, so I want to find a home and it’s been really good working with these guys.”
