It’s an exciting time to be a TM fan. While nothing has been made official just yet, it’s widely expected that Dutch talent Cas Valk will sign with the TM Moto CRD Motorsport team for the 2026 season to contest the MX2 World Championship.

However, there’s even more TM-related news coming down the pipeline and it could mean a much bigger presence for the Italian manufacturer next year.

We understand that TM will also have an officially supported team in the EMX250 series for 2026. According to our information, the Team Seven Motorsport setup which ran Husqvarna machinery throughout the 2025 season is set to switch to TM for the upcoming campaign.

In 2025, Team Seven Motorsport fielded a three-rider line-up with Cesar Paine Diaz, Andrea Uccellini, and Luca Colonnelli. While all three riders are expected to move on from the team, it’s understood that Uccellini will sign the TM family, joining Valk under the TM Moto CRD Motorsport awning to compete in the EMX125 Championship next year.

As for Team Seven’s new TM-backed EMX250 program, the team is expected to run a two-rider line-up in 2026. One of those seats looks set to go to Belgian rider Douwe Van Mechgelen, who has been spotted riding TM machinery after his spell with the official Fantic setup. He is expected to race a four-stroke in 2026. The identity of the second rider has yet to be confirmed, but an announcement is expected in the near future.

It’s great to see TM strengthening its presence across multiple classes – MX2, EMX250, and EMX125 – heading into the 2026 season. The only class they’ll be missing from now is MXGP, but wouldn’t it be great to see the iconic Italian brand return to the premier class in the future?

As always, we’ll keep you updated with more news and confirmation as soon as it becomes available.
